This is the fourth fatal accident in two weeks with paragliding in the mountains of Trentino. The man, born in 1970 and a native of Friuli Venezia Giulia, had taken off from the Col Rodella, a traditional detachment point located in Val di Fassa. The lifeless body was recovered on a meadow in the Lupo Bianco area near Canazei, about 5 kilometers away.

The coordinator of the Northern Trentino operational area of ​​the Alpine Rescue has called in the helicopter. The doctor who arrived at the site could only confirm the death. The body was recomposed in the mortuary chamber of Canazei.
