The sensation of the last Wimbledon, the American Cori Gauff, but also the French Antoine Hoang and Diane Parry are on the list of wild cards for the big table of the US Open (August 26 - September 8) announced Tuesday.

Cori "Coco" Gauff, who recently finished eighth at Wimbledon at just 15, was offered one of the most valuable sesames for the last Grand Slam of the year.

The young American player, ranked 139th in the world after starting the year in 685th place in January, will try to repeat at home the feat achieved in July on London turf. She had made a sensation by dismissing her childhood idol Venus Williams in the first round and then winning two other successes before being stopped by the future winner of the tournament, Simona Halep, in the round of 16.

As agreed, via an agreement with the French Tennis Federation (FFT), Diane Parry (16 years old) and Antoine Hoang (23 years old) are also part of the guest list.

Parry, who had passed a round at Roland Garros in May, will play the second Grand Slam of his (very) young career.

Hoang, who this week achieved his best ATP ranking since being on the world circuit (101st), hopes to do as well as at Roland Garros this year, where he had climbed up to the 3rd lap after having defeated Spaniard Fernando Verdasco, seeded N.23 in Paris.

Sam Stosur, winner of the event in 2011 or Jack Sock, 8th in 2017 (today 176th, without any victory on the ATP circuit this season), are the other notable wild-cards.
