“A criminal case has been opened against a 21-year-old resident of Magadan who was previously convicted of willful crimes. He is suspected of committing crimes under Part 1 of Art. 105 (“murder”), p.p. “C”, “g” part 2 of article 206 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“hostage-taking using violence dangerous to life and health, using objects used as weapons”), ”the agency said.
According to the investigation, on November 9, the suspect, while intoxicated, killed the 27-year-old Magadan, after which, threatening with a knife, captured and held the 18-year-old girl hostage. It is noted that he demanded alcohol, food and a car from police officers who arrived for negotiations to free the victim.
As a result, he was detained, and the hostage released.
The issue of electing a preventive measure in the form of detention is currently being decided.
Earlier, five teenagers were arrested in the case of raping a woman and beating to death a man in the Kirinsky district of Transbaikalia.
