It is reported by TASS.

“We have prepared a constitutional view on the interpretation of the Constitution, so that the Constitutional Court will explain whether the Verkhovna Rada and the president can pass a law on the sale of agricultural land without an all-Ukrainian referendum,” she said.

Tymoshenko added that she is asking the court to consider her submission “without delay”.

Earlier, 240 deputies of the Rada supported in the first reading the bill on allowing the sale of agricultural land to Ukrainian citizens and legal entities, as well as some foreign individuals or companies that have been renting them for at least three years.

In October, the sociological group "Rating" published a poll that showed that 73% of Ukrainians are against lifting a moratorium on land sales.

The President of the Center for System Analysis and Forecasting Rostislav Ishchenko in an interview with the NSN, said in whose interests the bill was adopted.
