With the intervention of police, investigators, investigators and drug dogs, the police in Arvika made a big effort towards a shop in western Värmland.
- We had been given information that we thought was worth following up, but I will not go into what information, says Police Chief Jonas Wendel.
No seizures were made, but after body inspections and interrogations, samples were taken of twelve people who are now suspected of minor drug offenses. The samples are sent to the Forensic Medicines Agency for analysis.
The chief of police does not want to go out with any activities carried out at the office.
Increased resourcesThe big effort was possible after the police in western Värmland received more resources, says Jonas Wendel.
- We have had a little increase with new police officers so now we have the opportunity to work more towards different problems and drugs is something we will focus on. This is something we have wanted to do for a long time because we have had major problems with this.
No person was deprived of liberty in connection with the operation because it is classified as a minor crime.
