The third line Pablo Matera, captain of Argentina during the World Cup, arrived in Paris where his new club, Stade Français, is waiting for him, said the latter, in the middle of a crisis of results and who sacked his coach Heyneke Meyer.

The captain of the Pumas (26 years, 66 caps), who will participate in the European Challenge match Saturday in Italy at the Zebre, could make his debut in the pink jersey during the "match of fear" in Brive on December 1.

The Parisians, last in the Top 14 with 2 successes in 9 days, a third of the championship, will have a huge pressure in Corrèze: with 9 points more (18 against 9), the CAB is the first non-relegable (12th) on which they must immediately make up for. A defeat and the hypothesis of relegation to Pro D2 will take a little more shape.

Meyer, protected by the owner and president Hans-Peter Wild despite the failures, an unattractive game and tensions with the players, was finally sacked on November 12 with all of his South African staff. But the Parisians have a little deeper bottom bowing in the wake of ... Brive (27-11), in a meeting Challenge for which the two clubs had sent their reservists.

Matera found in Paris the Argentine opener Nicolas Sanchez, arrived late 2018.
