On September 8, 2019, the accused man at the age of 36 arrived at Skavsta Airport in Nyköping via a flight from Brussels. Customs officials stopped the man when he chose to go down the road which means you have nothing to interpret.

Found foreign objects in the body

During the inspection, customs officials suspected that he had swallowed drugs and a body inspection was decided. During an X-ray examination it was found that he had about 20 foreign objects in his body, which turned out to be 18 capsules containing cocaine.

In total, there were 144 grams of cocaine, whose purity was 90 percent, which is considered to be particularly high according to the National Forensic Center.

Prison and deportation

The man, who has previously been punished, has admitted the crime and is sentenced to two years and four months in prison for serious drug smuggling, at Nyköping District Court. The defendant is also expelled from Sweden and is prohibited from returning here before October 2029.
