Marc Crawford is just one of several coaches who have been in the NHL in recent times. Henrik Sedin, acclaimed player in Vancouver, had Crawford as a coach for several years and tells of a "very demanding" coach who wanted to get the best out of his players.

- He (Crawford) could peel one in front of the team, or take one in the coach room and peel one, something that might not happen in a regular workplace. But I think that in many sports, a coach can do such things to his fellow players. These are things that are still happening and it was nothing that we thought much about then, ”says Henrik Sedin to Radio Sports.

- But I think it's good that this comes to the surface.

Do not recognize the physical violence

Several former players have come out and testified about harassment and in some cases physical violence from their coaches and there has also been talk of general horror. But physical violence is not something that Sedin recognizes.

- He believed in us and could definitely be tough and tough in how he treated us, but it was never something physical. He taught us an incredible amount and he is a big part of us becoming the players we became.

Mike Babcock is another NHL coach who got fired. Johan Franzén, a former star in Detroit, has commented on the former Toronto coach and told, among other things, that he was terrified of being in the ice cream parlor.

"Do you really like Johan"

"He's a terrible man, the worst person I've ever met," Franzén told Expressen.

Henrik Sedin has read about Johan Franzén's story about Mike Babcock.

- I feel very sorry for Johan. I have read about what he is going through and it is incredibly bad how he has taken it all and what Babcock did to him. But there are players who think Babcock is the best coach they have had. There are many different sides, says Henrik Sedin.

The 39-year-old made over 1,300 matches (1,070 points) in the NHL and took both Olympic gold and World Cup gold with Tre Kronor, before putting his skates on the shelf last year.
