The Yemeni Minister of the Interior, Ahmed Al-Misiri, asked for a clarification from the Saudi-Emirati alliance regarding the bloody attack on a training camp for the National Army in Marib, and stressed that the relationship with Saudi Arabia should be similar.

Al-Misiri said in statements to Al-Jazeera today, Wednesday, that the attack which targeted last Sunday the Fourth Brigade camp, a presidential protection and killed 115 people, not the first and will not be the last, considering that consolation is not sufficient in what happened to the Yemeni soldiers in bulk.

He added that the Saudi-Emirati alliance should provide a clear answer to what happened, because it is he who owns the Yemeni airspace.

Sources reported that the camp was bombed by a ballistic missile and drones, and the Yemeni government accused the Houthi group of carrying out the attack, while the Houthi leader Mohammed Al-Bakhiti said that if the Houthi group had carried out the attack, it would have adopted it.

In his statements to Al-Jazeera, the Yemeni Minister of Interior said that the Yemeni government will not neglect the sovereignty of Yemen, and will only accept a relationship of friendship and friendship with Saudi Arabia.

Al-Missari added, "Legitimacy will deal with the Saudi brothers on the basis of what it touches on the ground." He said that the Kingdom should not go the way the UAE took in Yemen.

He also said that the Saudis should realize that the interests they are looking for come from the door, not from the window.

Regarding the Riyadh agreement signed last November between the Yemeni government and the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council, the Yemeni Interior Minister said that the legitimate government will not be patient for long with the disruption of the terms of the Riyadh agreement.

He said that there is an attempt to circumvent what was stated in the Riyadh agreement, and to interpret some of its articles in a moody manner, adding that "the transitional council or the remainder of the Emirates project in Aden does not realize that we can enter and terminate it without the agreement."

Battles and bombing
In the field, Yemeni military sources said that the Houthi group took control of the strategic Jabal Al-Manar district in the Nahham district, east of the capital, Sanaa, on Wednesday, days after a continuous attack launched on the National Army positions from several axes.

The sources confirmed the death of more than 13 Houthis and 35 families during the National Army's response to another attack launched by the Houthis north of the Nahham district.

The Houthis intensified their attacks on the positions of government forces during the past days in more than one front, especially the Nahham district, and this comes after a missile attack targeting the training camp in Marib.

Military and local sources said that a missile attack on Wednesday targeted a residential neighborhood in the city of Ma'rib, which resulted in the death of a woman, including a woman, and the injury of other civilians.

The sources told Al-Jazeera Net that the air defenses of the legitimate government intercepted this evening two planes launched by the Houthi group on the city.

This development comes just hours after the Houthis also targeted a camp for the Special Security Forces in the governorate, killing and wounding four Yemeni National Army soldiers.

The hit-and-run battles continue between the National Army forces and the Houthis in the Naham front, which have escalated since the beginning of this week, and the army announced the restoration of its control over a number of sites in the region.

In Badruha, Al-Jawf governorate, near the city of Ma'rib, is witnessing fierce battles between the Houthi forces and the government, particularly on the Aqaba and Masloub fronts. According to eyewitnesses, the Saudi-Emirati coalition fighters targeted the Houthi sites and reinforcements in the confrontation areas.
