The world of science - Dangerous bridges
2019-09-15T15:47:25.882Z
Part 5 of 16. Dangerous bridges. On August 14, 2018, Morandibron raged in Genoa, Italy. 43 people died. Davide Capello realized too late that he had run over the edge of the collapsed bridge. His car fell 40 meters and landed fortunately in a cavity created by a bridge section. He managed the case and he could crawl out himself. Over the last ten years, more than 60 bridges have crashed in the world. Seemingly stable bridges - but why do they collapse and how can you tell which ones are in turn? Host: Victoria Dyring.
