The weather will not be really summer, Sunday, with rains in a large north-west quarter.

The weather Sunday will be disrupted over much of the country, often cloudy, rainy and locally stormy, according to Météo-France forecasts. At the beginning of the day, the disturbance will always water the Pays de la Loire, a good part of Normandy, the Paris region to the Hauts-de-France.

This disturbance will slide slowly south-east by touching mid-day north of New Aquitaine, the Massif Central and a good quarter northeast of the country where it will take a thunderstorm in the afternoon on Auvergne, Burgundy, Jura, Vosges and Alsace, giving accumulations of marked rainfall, strong gusts of wind under the strongest storms.

Nice weather in Paca and Corsica

At the rear, the clearings will return to Brittany in the early hours of the day and they will gain a good quarter north-west of the country in the afternoon but will sometimes be punctuated by a shower, on the coasts of the Channel in particular.

In the south-west of the country, the weather will be variable, alternating between shy clearings and frequent cloudy periods, carrying showers. Only the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and Corsica will benefit from a time most often sunny after the dissipation of the low morning clouds and that cumulus will bud on the summits in the afternoon.

The temperatures

Side temperatures, the minimum will generally be between 13 and 17 degrees in the northern two thirds of the country, between 17 and 22 on the south. The maximum will be of the order of 19 to 23 on the northwest, from 24 to 29 elsewhere, with another 29 to 33 on the Midi Toulouse, along the valley of the Garonne.
