At about 9 am yesterday (12th), a member of the Han River Business Division patrolled near the southern end of Magog Bridge in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, found a man's body floating on the river.

The body was found with only the upper body without head and limbs.

Police consider the body condition to be abandoned within a week.

In addition, there is a high possibility that it is related to a violent crime, assuming that the body has been severed by something.

Police sent the recovered bodies to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to identify them.

To date, the exact identity has not been determined, but the first autopsy revealed that it appears to be the body of a man in his 20s and 30s, considering long-term conditions.

Immediately after the body was discovered, more than 120 police officers, search dogs and drones were sent in to search nearby.

The police will set up a dedicated team to analyze the surrounding CCTVs and continue the search today.
