Porn videos and now drug trafficking . The professional career of maxillofacial surgeon Luis Senís again receives another major setback. If he was identified and expelled from a Valencian hospital six months ago for recording porn videos in the washrooms of an operating room, he is now involved in a plot of cocaine traffickers.
The National Police arrested last Friday the well-known Valencian doctor Luis Senís when he was carrying a backpack with half a kilo of cocaine and was sent to prison by the Court of Instruction number 5 of Valencia accused of drug trafficking, although with the possibility of being released on bail of 50,000 euros.
The investigation group of the Trànsits police station had been following the trail of another doctor, Carlos S., for some time, who they suspected was selling retail drugs from a house in the Saïdia district. The arrest of Luis Senís did not occur by chance , since the agents followed the doctor's trail for several months and followed him on Friday to the floor of the suspect when he left with a backpack. When they proceeded to review its contents, they found a package with half a kilo of high purity cocaine.
Apparently, there would be a link between the videos and photographs of sexual content and the arrest and imprisonment of Luis Senís because one of the aggrieved women, who were photographed on the surgeon's phone, would have denounced the practices of drug sales. During the investigation of the theft of the mobile, the agents have had interviews with a large part of the people who appear naked or practicing sex inside the clinic of the doctor or in hospital settings. Investigators do not rule out that it is a revenge for a love spite that has ended in a network of drug sales.
The surgeon alleged that he had come to see a friend after one of his operations and said he was unaware that there was a drug in his backpack , which contained his personal belongings and two other detainee's clothes, which covered the package with cocaine.
Once both Carlos S. and Luis Senís were arrested, the police searched their homes. The agents found 10,000 euros on the floor of the alleged seller in the Saïdia, which the court must now determine if it constitutes a part of the payment for the drug.
The two arrested were placed at the disposal of the court of instruction number 5 of Valencia on Sunday afternoon, which issued prison with bail of 50,000 euros for the surgeon and 30,000 for the other defendant.
Luis Senís is persecuted by the controversy as proof that, last April, the Valencia Provincial Court dismissed the appeal of the maxillofacial to a sentence that accused him of carrying out misleading advertising in the media regarding a technique of implants without grafts which the dental professional has been talking about for years. A technique that according to surgery specialists could not be applied in the way that the convicted person claimed.
The group of ondontologists denounced the surgeon for inciting the publication in the media of information on the PARP classification that could lead to confusion for the consumer and to make him understand that Senís was one of the few who could practice this technique in the international arena of surgery
In the text of the sentence it is recognized that the contents disseminated by the doctor in the media, there was talk of a member of the international elite, a pioneering study, a new technique, of maxiolofacial implants or scientific innovation in relation to pterygoid implants, which the Judge qualifies as " unlawful, misleading, confusing for consumers and users, and unfair."
Finally, Luis Senís was also convicted of participating in the network of counterfeit yacht master titles.
