Guillermo del Toro is to blame for the suite at hand, a stop for the monsters that navigate between horror and fantasy, like the characters created by the filmmaker. We talked about the Monster Suite that hides behind dark and illusory Victorian doors in the Mexican city of Guadalajara.

There, Hotels.com has assembled this unique ephemeral experience , since you can only sleep in this original accommodation for three nights, from October 3 to 5. The idea is to continue the exhibition At home with my monsters , which presents more than 900 installations of films, comics and the director's personal collection.

The exhibition is exhibited these days in the Museum of the Arts of the University of that city, being the only headquarters in all of Mexico. In addition, it will be the last time you can enjoy outside the Bleak House, the Californian house where Del Toro guards his private collection.

For fans of fantastic terror

And as a tribute, those responsible for Hotels.com have decided to create the Monster Suite right next to the museum. In it, the fantastic elements inspired by the most memorable director films and creations come to life. A life -size aquatic beast , a porcelain doll worthy of the worst nightmares and hands that come out of the walls are just some of the objects that guests will encounter during their stay.

To be able to stay here you have to be fast, yes, and book one of the three nights available on September 18, 19 and 20. It can be done through the Hotels.com website. "We are big fans of Guillermo del Toro's work, so we wanted to partner with the exhibition to offer fans an authentic and immersive experience," says Marwan Badran, general manager of the portal in Latin America.

"Like your movies, staying in a hotel can be an escape from reality, so ... why not combine them?" He continues. Before spending the night with the monsters, guests will also take an exclusive night tour of the exhibition.

After getting soaked in it, guests can go to the Monster Suite to continue their experience of this fantasy world for the rest of the night.
