Karlshamn sets a national record with as many as 57.1 per cent girls who go in the transport direction at Väggaskolan in Karlshamn. The percentage of girls in the transport orientation in grade 2 is an average of 27.3 percent across the country. This shows a study carried out by the Transport Union's Occupational and Occupational Health and Safety Committee.

"We had no idea, but it's very gratifying," says Christina Karlsson, Rector of the Electricity and Energy Program, the Vehicle and Transport Program, the Natural Science Program and the Technology Program.

She explains that the school works deliberately to attract more people to the program.

"When the school has an open house, we have a girl with us to show off the girls we have," she says.
