Qatar did not participate in the Gulf Cooperation Council in the Middle East

The GCC = Gulf Cooperation Council summit consisting of countries in the Persian Gulf in the Middle East was held in Saudi Arabia. However, the Qatar chief, who had severed diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia and others, did not participate at all, and there was no movement to improve the relationship between the two.

Four countries in the Middle East, such as Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, argued that Qatar “supported terrorist organizations and threatened regional stability,” and severed diplomatic relations from June. We continue to take measures to limit it.

During the two and a half years since the signing, the GCC = Gulf Cooperation Council, which consists of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, held an annual summit on the 10th in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

Prior to this meeting, underwater adjustments were made to improve the relationship, and the possibility that Qatar's absentee Tamim would attend last year was not attended, but Tamim was absent and Prime Minister Abdullah attended Did.

At the meeting, King Sulman of Saudi Arabia called for a consistent response to each country that hostile Iran continued to act to destabilize the region, but a clear message was issued to resolve the conflict between Qatar did not.

This time, since the direct dialogue between the leaders was not realized, the depth of the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Qatar is highlighted again.
