According to him, four dead were found in the hotel corridor, three in the rooms, another woman’s body was found at the entrance to the hotel.
According to preliminary data, all died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on his Facebook page said that in connection with the state of emergency in Tokyo Star, it is necessary to begin large-scale checks of hotels and resorts in the country.
“I instruct to immediately begin large-scale inspections of places of recreation for people, especially hotels and resorts,” he wrote.
Earlier, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky took control of a fire investigation at the Tokyo Star Hotel.
The incident occurred on the night of August 16-17, eight people were killed, ten more were injured.
