Reactions in Iran to Saudi Arabia and the UAE's participation in the International Alliance for Security and Freedom of Maritime Navigation have varied from calling for dialogue to warning of repercussions and threatening to destroy infrastructure.

Although Iran has not formally commented on the decision of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to participate in this alliance, it has warned by more than one military and political official not to threaten its interests, and threatened a decisive response beyond expectations.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in a tweet on Friday that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates appeared to want to "fight Iran to the last American", reiterating his famous saying that "Team B" may lure the US president into a conflict with Tehran.

Zarif calls Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed "Team B".

Resistance response
For his part, Mansour Haqiqat Pour, an adviser to Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, said that America is not qualified to participate in securing the security of the Middle East, and stressed the need to ensure security in the Gulf waters by Iran and the participation of riparian countries, without allowing foreign powers to tamper with its security.

Speaking to Al Jazeera Net, he stressed that bringing foreign powers to the Gulf region would be met with a firm response from the axis of resistance without doubt, as Iran has already declared its rejection of foreign presence near it.

The former member of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee blamed America and regional states urging them to be present in the region for the consequences of any friction that may occur in the Gulf waters.

He added, "It is better for the US coalition forces to settle in Saudi Arabia and the UAE to secure the security of these two countries," describing the declaration of Saudi Arabia and the UAE participating in the international coalition for the security and freedom of maritime navigation as illegal and provocative.

Addressing the Arab countries that intend to participate in the maritime alliance by saying that America will not stay in the region, and that it will leave sooner or later, and you should think about the post-American exit from our region.

Mohammad Mirandi, a professor of political science at Tehran University, said his country does not care whether Saudi Arabia and the UAE will participate in the international coalition of maritime security and freedom, describing the military capabilities of the two southern neighbors as "very weak" compared to those of Iran.

In an interview with Al Jazeera Net, he said that Riyadh and Abu Dhabi had already offered their deficit in the Yemen quagmire, as well as the setback suffered by Riyadh in defending the vital facilities of Aramco, as he put it.

Do not threaten Sui America
The US presence in the Gulf waters is considered the only threat that Tehran takes seriously, pointing out that the American failure to respond to the recent developments, including the dropping of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards air defenses to its drone, demonstrates the American side's understanding of Iranian capabilities and Tehran's determination to defend the interests of the Iranian people.

According to Dr. Mirandi, there is no change in the developments in the Gulf waters after the formation of the Maritime Alliance, attributing the reason for the US efforts to involve a number of countries in the context of the "psychological war on Iran.

He explained that the Iranian announcement of the organization of a military parade in the Gulf waters with the participation of hundreds of ships and naval vessels of the Revolutionary Guards and the Army Navy on the occasion of the anniversary of the sacred defense, but carries a message to the Americans warning them against any provocative action against Iran.

He predicted that the aggressor on Iran would lose everything it had after the response, which would not be limited to the Islamic Republic, but would come through its allies from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea, and from Central Asia to the Hindu Kush mountains in eastern Iran.

He concluded by warning that anyone who will provide the slightest assistance to the US side in any possible attack against Iran will destroy its oil and gas facilities and infrastructure, and the name of these countries may change after the response of the axis of resistance and Iran's allies.

Calls for dialogue
The former head of Iran's parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Heshmatullah Falahat Bishah, warned in a tweet on Twitter that war brokers planned to destroy Iran and Saudi Arabia simultaneously, stressing that these two countries could solve outstanding problems such as the Hajj model.

Meanwhile, the director of the Arab Center for Iranian Studies Mohammad Saleh Sidqian urged Tehran and Riyadh to sit at the negotiating table and agree on a minimum of interests on the basis of Rabeh Rabeh.

In a second tweet on Twitter, he saw Saudi Arabia squeezed itself into a new impasse when it accused Iran of involvement in the bombing of Aramco, he said.
