The Paris Bourse started Wednesday up 0.16% in a cautious market before knowing the outcome of the meeting of the US Federal Reserve, against a backdrop of many business results and the confimation of discussions between PSA and Fiat Chrysler.
At 09:00, the CAC 40 index advanced 9.55 points to 5,749.69 points. The day before, he ended up on a modest gain (+ 0.17%) at 5,740.14 points, a new annual high.
The title of the car group PSA flew more than 8%.
After news reports Tuesday night reporting such negotiations, the French manufacturer and his Italian-American counterpart confirmed Wednesday morning talks to create a giant valued at some 50 billion dollars.
