It was in his summer speech in Sölvesborg last Saturday, that Jimmie Åkesson claimed that the Ystads residents from their local energy company are urged not to make coffee between 8 and 10 in the morning, because there is a lack of power.

The statement was rejected by the CEO of Ystad Energy.

- We never said it and would never say it, says CEO Jessica Fredson.

Jimmie Åkesson later explained that he heard a moderate member of a parliamentary debate use the example from Ystad.

"Creates unnecessary fear"

- The lies of Åkesson and the Moderates risk creating anxiety and unnecessary fear, believes Anders Ygeman.

But Skåne has a shortage of electricity, and Ystads Energi says it can be tough in winter. Doesn't the government have a responsibility here?

- The government has a responsibility, but so do the electricity producers and the electricity grid companies, says Anders Ygeman.

What are you going to do about it?

- We are tenfold more investments in the national grid. Before the summer, we referred proposals that could halve the time needed to build new important electricity grids. We also need more local electricity generation and better control of the electricity grid, comments Ygeman.
