Toni and Sara are only five and eight years old, but at their young age they have already taught a lesson in empathy and solidarity to many adults. They are two brothers from Ibiza who took a letter to the injured police officer during the riots in the streets of Barcelona to the police station of the National Police of Pitiusa after knowing the sentence of the Procés and who remains admitted to the hospital with a severe prognosis, although it evolves favorably.

"Hello, my name is Toni, my sister's name is Sara, we are eight and five years old. We want to thank you for taking care of us every day. But above all we want the wounded police in Barcelona to heal very soon," they write in their letter , in which you can also see a child's drawing in which a boy appears saying "thank you", next to a girl and a policeman.

After the brothers delivered it to the Regional Head of Operations of the Balearic Islands, the letter was sent to that of Catalonia so that it could be sent to the hospitalized agent.

The seriously injured policeman belongs to the Police Intervention Unit (IPU) of the National Police of Barcelona and was attacked last Friday night in the center of the city. The agent received the strong impact of an object on the head and fell collapsed on the ground. Witnesses to the incident indicated that the helmet prevented the trauma from being even more serious.

During the revolts in Barcelona, it is estimated that 300 security agents were injured, mostly Mossos d'Esquadra and national police.
