The Leganés Hospital no longer admits more patients and they are referring to other health centers

The Ministry of Health of Madrid confirmed tonight to EL MUNDO that the Hospital de Leganés "is at its maximum capacity", so "it no longer admits more patients".

The patients who arrive from this moment to the health center in the south of Madrid are referred to other nearby hospitals with available beds.

"It is something we have to get used to," health sources have explained. "In the next few days it will be the usual trend," added the same sources.

Other hospitals in the region have been referring patients to other health centers for several days, such as the one in Alcalá, whose patients are cared for in the Red Cross and Gómez Ullaz hospitals.

The sources consulted assure that the situation will worsen in the next five days and that situations such as the one that the Hospital de Leganés is going through will occur in other health centers.
