According to Gromadske, as part of the separation of the independent operator of the gas transmission system, it will be transferred to the management of the company, which will be subordinate to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
It is noted that all the assets of the gas transmission system will be transferred to the company "Operator of the gas transmission system of Ukraine."
All shares of this company will belong to the Ministry of Finance.
“The proposed branch model will provide the prerequisites for creating a transparent and efficient structure of the GTS Operator, introducing European work standards, ensuring the real independence of the GTS Operator, certified in accordance with the requirements of European law,” said Orgel.
In May, parliamentary deputy Vadim Rabinovich predicted the Ukrainian GTS "turning into scrap metal" from January 1, 2020.
