The Secretary General of the Football Association, Mohammed Abdullah Hazam Al Dhaheri, confirmed the keenness of the participation of the teams of Sunni stages in official and friendly tournaments, in order to give players more experience and friction with different teams and teams, pointing to the participation of the youth team born in 2001, in the West Asian Championship to be launched In Palestine tomorrow, and will continue until August 30, with the participation of six teams, and is an ideal opportunity for white to prepare for the qualifiers for the Asian Cup under-19, which will be held next November.

The Secretary-General of the Football Association was keen to be present in the stadium of Thiab Awana yesterday, where the last training session for white youth before traveling to Palestine, and met members of the technical and administrative staff and players, wishing them success in the tournament.

He urged the players to appear in honor of the tournament and to represent the UAE football well, praising the role played by the technical and administrative staff in preparing the players for the championship, through the camp held in Slovenia, during which the team played a number of friendly matches with European teams and teams.

The team arrived in the Jordanian capital Amman yesterday, before heading to Palestine, where they were received at the airport representatives of the West Asian Football Federation, and officials of the organizing committee of the championship.

The team comprises a delegation composed of members of the technical and administrative staff and 23 players: Saif Obaid Al Zaabi, Yasser Hassan Al Balushi (Ittihad Kalba), Fahad Bader Tarish (UAE), Sultan Omar Al Zaabi (Bani Yas), Rakan Waleed Saleh, Zayed Sultan Al Zaabi, Mubarak Ahmed Salem, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Wafi, Nawaf Salem Al-Harthy, Hazza Sbeit Khater, Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Hammadi (Al Jazeera), Maid Ali Al-Tunaiji (Al-Rams), Hareb Abdullah Suhail, Hamdan Humaid Hassan, Khalifa Yousef Ateeq, Abdulrahman Adel Mohammed, Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Balushi, Mohammed Issa Jassim (Al Ahli Dubai Youth), Issa Khalfan Al Harrasi (Al Ain), Hamad Abdulla Al Muqbali (Fujairah) and Mohammed Abd Rahman Ibrahim (victory), Rashid Abdullah Malallah, and Abdullah Hamad Al-Menhali (unity).

The draw for the tournament will be withdrawn today, where the participating teams will be divided into two groups so that the first and second of each group will qualify for the semi-finals, while the third place play the match for the fifth and sixth place.
