The first firing from the S-350 Vityaz air defense system took place in the Astrakhan region

This was reported by TASS with reference to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“Specialists of the anti-aircraft missile forces conducted initial firing of the complex at a training ground in the Astrakhan region,” the defense department said.

Also, the military calculations worked out the detection and conditional destruction of air targets that imitated MiG-29SMT fighters.

At the end of December 2019, Almaz-Antey handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense the first set of S-350 Vityaz.
