The emergency services in Storuman Municipality have decided to lift the ban on fires from Friday.
- It has rained a lot, and the forecast shows with rain. In addition, the dryness of the soil has decreased. I think more municipalities in the county will do the same, says Lars-Erik Sundqvist, emergency response leader in emergency preparedness.
The emergency services still encourage people to think before firing.
