On Tuesday, August 6 , an explosion occurred in the Österbro area of ​​Copenhagen. The explosion took place at the Swedish Tax Agency's building (corresponding to the Swedish Tax Agency) in Nordhavn station, according to Danish media. No people were injured, but the building was damaged and several windows were smashed.

It is still unclear what caused the explosion, but police say it was not an accident.

"It has not happened unintentionally, but someone has deliberately attacked the building," said Police Chief Jörngen Bergen Skov at a press conference the day after the incident.

On Wednesday, August 14 , a Danish police report at a press conference states that a Swedish man has been arrested following the explosion at the Swedish Tax Agency. An international search has gone out for yet another Swedish man, who is linked to the incident. Police no connection between the two explosions.
