The EU has simplified obtaining visas for citizens of Belarus

“In Brussels, the signing ceremony of the agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the European Union on visa facilitation and the agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the European Union on the readmission of persons staying without permission,” the statement said.

It is noted that these agreements provide, on a reciprocal basis, the simplification of the procedure for issuing visas, including reducing the visa fee to € 35, and cooperation between Belarus and the EU in the field of readmission.

“The provisions of the agreements will begin to be applied on the first day of the second month after the exchange of notifications on the implementation of internal procedures by the parties,” the agency said.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry called the condition for mutual recognition of visas with Belarus.
