The government of Josep Maria Bartomeu, in the eyes of the great majority of the Barcelona board, has come to an end. During the informal meeting of the Barça management team, many of its members demanded that the president of the entity call for elections. The meeting, tense and in which responsibilities were demanded from the chief executive for his administration and that of Jaume Masferrer (director of the presidency area) of the so-called 'Barçagate', not only evidenced the fracture of the meeting, but the impression that the mandate can not go beyond next summer. Emili Rousaud, current vice president and one of the most annoying executives with what happened in recent days, opposes taking over.

The board will see each other again next week at an extraordinary meeting in which President Bartomeu must decide if he assumes the requirement of the call for elections of the vast majority of his board of directors, or if he prefers to take the risk of a forward flight with resignations of by means.

Bartomeu's explanations to the members of his government regarding the contract signed with the company I3 Ventures, contracted in autumn 2017 in exchange for 198,000 annually until 2021-invoices that did not go through the delegated commission not exceeding 200,000 euros- , did not convince the attendees.

"It was all fatal," admitted one of those present. The role of that company, whose contract was terminated by Bartomeu after the Cadena Ser showed that at least one of the Facebook accounts he used to erode his own players was his, the managers hardly knew. Some of them even described this link as "a scam", given the high price paid for services that Bartomeu defined as "monitoring."
