Nigeria beat Nigeria 2-2 to beat Cameroon 3-2 in an exciting match at the final of the 2019 African Nations Cup finals in Egypt to ensure the Eagles qualify for the quarter-finals at the expense of the unbeaten Black.

Nigeria's Udion Igalo scored in the 19th minute but Cameroon striker Stephane Bahukin equalized in the 41st minute and Clinton's Moya Niji added the lead in the 44th minute to end the first half with a 2-1 lead.

In the second half the first goal equalized in the 63rd minute and then made the third goal of the eagles scored by Alex Ayoubi in the 66th minute.

The Cameroonians were second in Group F with five points behind Ghana, while Nigeria qualified for second place in Group B with six points, one behind Madagascar.

Nigeria will meet in the quarter-finals with the winner of the match Egypt and South Africa held later today.

The unbeaten blacks were crowned five times, most recently in 2017, while the Eagles won the title three times, most recently in 2013.
