Abu Dhabi Maritime Team is looking forward to settle the competition for the title of Formula 2 World Championship today, through the main race of the fourth round held in the city of Ribadoro, Portugal, in which a large number of champions and sports professionals, including the Abu Dhabi 35, led by Rashid Al Qamzi and a boat 36 led by Rashid Al Tayer, Victorian 4 and 27 by Mansour Al Mansouri and Ahmed Al Fahim, and Sharjah by Ferdinand Zindbergen.

Abu Dhabi has the biggest chances to finish the day as it celebrates winning the 2019 championship, especially as it is now 55 points ahead of Ferdinand, with 25 points.

If he can win the title, it will be the second time in his history that he will win the Formula 2 World Championship, in addition to being the only UAE and Arab team to win the title.

The competition begins with the start of the different operations at the race site at 8:00 am, followed by a meeting of the President of the jury and technical with the contestants at 9:00 am, where the final meeting will be to provide different directions and advice to the contestants on the laws presented in the course and competition today. The runners will then head to the water to start the free practice, which will start at 10:45 and continue for one hour, after which the show will start at 3:30 pm and prepare for the main race which will be at 3: 4. 5.

Ribaduro has the most memorable memories of Abu Dhabi, where the small Qamzi won the Tour title in 2018, scored third in 2017, and made his debut in 2016, and also the first appearance of that season through Formula 2 rounds.

The race track did not differ much from previous seasons, as it is the same track, as well as the same laws that were enacted in the last season with the participation of 20 boats, compared to the number of participating boats was 18 in 2017.

A number of scenarios emerge in front of the Abu Dhabi 35 to win the title. If Al-Qamzi does not win any position today, and is left out due to one or another failure, he will reach behind him to point 45, remain 55 points ahead, and the final round will be postponed.

• Rashed Al Qamzi is a strong candidate to win the world title, even if he did not win in the fourth round today.
