The Syrian regime will allow civilians to leave the province of Idleb through the establishment of a corridor.

The Syrian regime announced Thursday the opening of a corridor to allow civilians who wish to leave the province of Idleb, in the midst of fighting between pro-regime forces on one side and jihadists and rebels on the other, indicated the official SANA agency.

900 civilians killed in this region since April

Thanks to heavy aerial bombardment and artillery, forces loyal to Bashar al-Assad's regime managed to advance in jihadist-dominated Idleb province (north-west). Nearly 900 civilians have been killed since the start of the regime's military campaign against the region in April, according to an NGO.
