On Wednesday, the riders make their first starts during the equestrian European Championship in Rotterdam with a time jump. After a team jump on Thursday, it will be decided which country will take care of the medals during the second team jump on Friday.

SVT's expert Lotta Björe believes that Sweden is at the top of the podium.

- Sweden is so incredibly strong both in law and individually. It's the same team as the World Cup last year and I think it's an incredibly welded team. All the horses show shape, she says.

Björe also believes that Switzerland and Belgium take the medal - two teams that most often deliver and maintain a high low level.

Peder Fredricson is a hot medal candidate

Individually, Lotta Björe holds two Swedes as medal candidates. One of them is the reigning European champion Peder Fredricson.

- You don't have to say more. Everything has already been said about Peder and "Allan". He has matched the horse very well for this, she says.

In addition, Lotta Björe believes that there is a strong pitcher in Malin Baryard-Johnsson of Indiana.

- She has been very strong, I really hope she cuts. She has been strong both individually and contributed to team jumps, she has had so many flawless rounds.

Three other riders who believe Björe will snap the medals are German Daniel Deusser and Swiss Steve Guerdat and Martin Fuchs.
