After a super year, Anna Swenn-Larsson headed for the first slalom race in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. In the second, she continued to extend her lead to the season's sovereign Petra Vlhová. After the final interim, she led with a total of 1.17 and went on to her first career victory in the World Cup. But with only four gates left, she drove out and slid her stomach into the target instead.
- Are you kidding me you only had the last gates left. Anna, Anna, said Pernilla Wiberg in the broadcast.

SVT Sports expert Maria Pietilä Holmner believes that Swenn-Larsson lost the position towards the end.
- You can see that she is losing position, the skis are coming up and the outer ski is coming down in the snow again which is trapping her. She had the victory in a small, small box. But what she does up until then is so wonderfully good and this is how a winner goes, I say, she continues:
- She is really in really good shape. Now it is important for the team to support her and just get this out of the world. Now you just have to come home to train and have a good time. Sadly, I would like to say, says Maria Pietilä Holmner.
