The student, Sultan Faisal Al-Saieri, who received 98.7%, achieved third place among 12th graders in the advanced grade. He said that he wanted to study computer engineering at Khalifa University for Science, Technology and Research, adding that he had a problem when applying for university . He took the college entrance exam on March 12 and was interviewed at the university. After a period he was informed that he would enter another interview because of a technical error. So far he has not received a response from the university about scheduling an interview.
He stressed that he did not want to study abroad, but preferred to study at a national university, especially Khalifa University for Science, Technology and Research.
