For a day of national and interprofessional mobilization against the pension reform. The railroaders, at the forefront of the protest movement after 12 consecutive days of strike, want to expand and harden the movement.

For this thirteenth day of strike for railway workers, third day of demonstration for all professions, rallies are organized throughout France. Unions call on all workers to mobilize. SNCF and RATP employees, at the forefront of the dispute, are counting on this day to broaden the movement. Nadia, railway worker, explains her determination by seeing the mobilization of other professions:

To see that there are other corporations and that it's not just the railway workers, that motivates us. It was already the case a week ago when the firefighters came to our procession. It was a real interprofessional event. It was exciting, and we are waiting for this event today. "

For his part, Zoubir also insists on the need for an interprofessional event: “ the firefighters, the teachers, the medical sector are also on strike. We want to federate with all trades. We really aspire to be with everyone. "

General strike ?

All in the same procession is one thing. All on strike, over time, is another. But like Xavier, many railway workers are beginning to think about it: " To make them back down, we have to be massively on strike. The general strike is not a bad word. We call a general strike. Everyone is concerned and we are leveling everyone down by this pension reform. "

Some unions are asking for outright withdrawal from the pension reform project, others are blocking only on certain points. Today, they will parade together.

If there are many of us on the street, we will definitely not back down and therefore the government will not have much choice behind. Apart from withdrawing the project, I do not see what will be its exit door.
