Startups in Dubai offered their solutions to address a number of challenges in energy management, procurement and patient assistance, during the activities of the "Business Partnerships Network" program, which was recently organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In detail, "Dubai Emerging Projects", one of the initiatives of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry to support entrepreneurship, succeeded in bringing together a number of emerging companies in joint ventures with a number of leading companies in the country, at the conclusion of the fourth session of its program "Business Partnerships Network".

The Chamber confirmed in a statement yesterday that the new cooperation was announced during the participation of "Dubai for Emerging Projects" in the "Step 2020 Conference", which recently concluded its activities in Dubai Internet City.

Three major companies in the Emirate of Dubai participated in the fourth session of the business partnerships program, Emirates NBD, Mediclinic Middle East, and Sumitomo Corporation Middle East, while more than 100 startups applied to participate in the current session of the program. The main companies during the conference evaluated the 21 emerging companies that qualified for the program, as those who qualified for the program presented their innovative solutions to address the challenges faced by one of these three major companies.

Emirates NBD has agreed to collaborate with the Cloudia project, Cloud, Dafar, PassPadu and Arcab, in a number of projects that include the use of innovative solutions to enhance procurement efficiency.

Mediclinic Middle East has agreed to cooperate with NEARMOTION, Healthigo, Eternity Medicine and InstaPact on innovative solutions and programs to improve and enhance patient care.

Sumitomo Corporation Middle East agreed to cooperate with BaseTrack in a number of projects that include using innovative solutions to meet the challenges Sumitomo faces in energy management, especially related to electric cars.

The Director of Entrepreneurship at the Dubai Chamber, Natalia Saishiva, confirmed that the "Business Partnerships Network" program succeeded in this session in attracting startups from different parts of the world, where the percentage of participants from outside the UAE reached 40% of the total posts.
