Three minutes of silence were observed Tuesday morning in Sri Lanka in tribute to nearly 300 people killed Sunday in a series of attacks on the island.
The flags were lowered at half-mast and people bowed in a sign of respect from 8.30 am, the time of the first attacks on Easter Day.
