TGV traffic will be normal except for the Atlantic and North routes (four out of five trains). Only one out of four overnight Intercity will circulate.

A TGV traffic "little disturbed", two Intercity trains out of five, three TER out of five and one Transilien out of two will circulate on average Tuesday, day of call to the strike against the project of pension reform, announced Sunday the direction of the SNCF.

International train traffic will be "normal" for Eurostar, Thalys, Lyria and France-Spain, France-Germany and France-Italy. TGV traffic will be normal except for the Atlantic and North routes (four out of five trains). Like regional traffic, Intercity traffic is described as "disrupted". Only one out of four overnight Intercity will circulate.

In the Paris region, the RER A will have a normal service but the northern part of the RER B (from Gare du Nord), managed by the SNCF, will be affected with two out of five trains that will circulate, just like the C lines (a train on two), D (two trains out of five and no traffic between Châtelet and Gare de Lyon) and E (two trains out of five).

The R line of the Transilians particularly affected

If 50% of Transilians will circulate on average, the line R to Montereau and Montargis will be particularly affected with one train in four that will roll. The CGT-Cheminots (1st union SNCF) and SUD-Rail (3rd) called for the strike. The Unsa Rail (2nd trade union) has called for demonstrations but not to stop work.

The CGT, joined by Solidaires, the FSU, youth organizations Unef and UNL launched an interprofessional call to strike and demonstrate Tuesday against the government's plan to standardize the pension system into a universal system by points.
