According to the UK, in 2014 and 2017, Gritsenko, are in Ukraine, publicly called in the media to carry out terrorist activities in Russia.
The Investigative Committee recalled that he urged to undermine Russian trains in the regions bordering Ukraine, as well as to blow up cars in Moscow and Taganrog in response to allegedly Russian intelligence services aimed at destroying Ukrainian military equipment and killing Ukrainian security officials.
They added to the IC of Russia that extraditing Gritsenko from Ukraine, where he is located, is not allowed by Ukrainian legislation and international law.
The criminal case was sent to court for consideration on the merits.
According to the agency, the ex-minister is on the international wanted list; in April 2019, he was arrested in absentia.
