Media coverage of the blockading countries, while covering the signing of a peace agreement between Washington and the Taliban in Doha, revealed a new doctrine in the media that deletes one of the most important traditional elements of the news because it does not appeal to the tastes of political and security authorities overseeing editorial policies in channels and sites that consider themselves at the top of professionalism.

The defamation of the media tradition, professional norms, killing the truth, and even "faking" the facts over the past three years has been a behavior practiced by some of the major media in the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Bahrain, but today it has led to a new uncharacteristic pattern - at least in recent years - in dealing with The news coming from Doha, and it is related to the separation of time and place in the news, or mentioning the news and its coverage without indicating where it happened.

Delete the place
Time is Saturday, February 29, and the place is Doha, the capital of Qatar. The content of the news is the signing of a peace agreement between the United States of America and the Afghan Taliban, under the auspices of Doha, after two decades of armed conflict between them.

Several media sites published the news amputated, where I talked about the agreement and some of its contents, without any reference to the location of the event, nor any mention of Doha, which has sponsored the agreement for nearly ten years of negotiations that ended in signing an agreement that will drive away the specter of war and fighting for the Afghan people.

The Sky News news site and its location in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the Emirates, dealt with the agreement signed between Washington and the Taliban and the previous truce agreed upon a week ago, and published several news stories about the agreement and the truce before it, but certainly the readers of the site do not know yet whether the agreement was signed in Mars, but rather Why not in Abu Dhabi, which has long sought to embrace the Washington and Taliban negotiations without winning it?

And like Sky News, the Egyptian website, Al-Youm Al-Sabe'a, published a lengthy report on the Doha agreement, without any reference to it from near or far.

Today's seventh report came in about 800 words, containing four images, two of them to US President Donald Trump, one from the Taliban fighters and a fourth from a Taliban spokesman.

In the footsteps of Sky Anwar and the seventh day, the Saudi newspaper Okaz published a report on the signing of the agreement, which was issued largely by some American soldiers in the Afghan state of Kandahar, without any indication of the sponsor of the ongoing agreement.

Okaz's position was consistent with that of the Saudi government, which stated that it welcomed the agreement, without mentioning which capital was signed.

The Middle East News Agency reported that it was signed in Doha, but it chose the percentage of the news for CNN, possibly taking into consideration the principles of the profession in the ratio of the news to its people.

In addition, other media outlets belonging to the blockading countries published various details of the agreement and the reduction of violence during the armistice of the seven days, ignoring the place where world cameras and the pens of editors and the media went from a period ago documenting the most important moment that could stop the waterfall of blood and fire in the country of Afghan snow and flames.

The new media doctrine of the blockade has sparked widespread ridicule among bloggers and bloggers, and a number of media professionals who have derided cynicism from "new technologies" to inform the blockade.

Most of the media affiliated with the countries of the blockade of Qatar are accustomed to ignoring the positive news of Qatar, but this time the news was greater than concealment and forgery, and the professional ceiling was lower and weaker than the reader, the information, and the sanctity of the news, as the singers say.

Formal disregard
The media's disregard for the place was accompanied by an official disregard from the blockading countries, with the exception of Riyadh, which took the initiative in welcoming the agreement without mentioning the party that hosted, patronized, and humiliated many of the obstacles to the agreement, which is Doha.

# Permit | The Kingdom welcomes the signing of the peace agreement between the United States of America and the Taliban, because of its role in restoring the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, its stability in the interests of security and regional and international peace.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a strange statement welcoming an agreement that does not mention when and where it occurred, which indicates that the media that carried the news and ignored its place was not issued by a private opinion but rather an official and systematic policy.

As for Manama, it opted to ignore the agreement, following the example of Abu Dhabi, which has not commented in any way on welcoming or denouncing the agreement, after it failed to transfer the dialogue between the two sides from Doha to Abu Dhabi.

The signing of the agreement between the Taliban and Washington in Doha was accompanied by international media attention, and wide coverage in which major international media participated, as well as an acclaimed diplomatic presence that included representatives of about 30 countries and organizations interested in peace in the world.

As for the quadrant siege, the influence of the retreat was calculated by all shouting of freedom, peace or success for Doha automatically, a threat to them, seeking as much as their means allows them to block the sun of the continuous successes of Doha with sieve.
