In Parisian public transport
Metro traffic will be "very disrupted", but no line will be "completely closed," said the authority in a statement. Traffic on lines 1, 7bis, 14 and Orlyval will be "normal". The service will be "disrupted" on line 10 "with 3 trains out of 4". On the rest of the metro network, traffic will be "very disrupted", with two thirds or half of the trains in circulation on certain lines, while others will offer fewer trains (20%, 25% or a third) not fully open or will only be in service for part of the day, depending on the authority.
The RATP provides 3 out of 4 buses in circulation “on average”. On the tram side, traffic is announced “normal” on six lines, “almost normal” on T1 and “very disrupted” on T3b. For RER A and B, operated jointly by SNCF and RATP, the railway group announces in a press release 3 RER A out of 4 in circulation "at peak times and 2 trains out of 3 the rest of the day", with " the interconnection maintained at Nanterre-Préfecture ”. The RATP announces “4 out of 5 trains in peak hours, 3 out of 5 trains in off-peak hours”.
According to the SNCF, half of the RER B trains will run with interconnection kept at the Gare du Nord. The railway group also plans 2 RER C out of 3 in circulation, as well as 1 RER D out of 2 and 8 RER E out of 10. Still Ile-de-France, on the Transilien network, there will be 6 trains (RER SNCF, trains of the Parisian suburbs) out of 10 in circulation "on average", according to the spokesman.
At the SNCF
TGV traffic will be normal, apart from disturbances due to bad weather in Occitania, "between Béziers and Narbonne," said a spokesman for the railway group. The traffic of "Ouigo, Thalys and Eurostar will be normal", he added. On the Intercités side, 7 out of 10 trains are planned. On the TER network, "the situation will vary depending on the region," said the spokesperson. The “weakest” traffic is expected in Occitanie and Hauts-de-France, with half of the trains in circulation, in front of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur regions, where 6 TER out of 10 will run , he detailed.
In national education
On the pension reform but also against the bac reform wanted by Jean-Michel Blanquer, the teachers should continue their actions on Friday. "Activists want us to speed up the movement, with shorter days, which seems complicated, because people stick out their tongues," recognizes Benoît Teste, secretary general of the FSU, the main federation in education. But according to him, there is overall "little criticism of the base".
At the lawyers
The corporation is one of the most rebellious against the pension reform brought by the government. Many courts are paralyzed by a protracted strike movement. Also, the blows are numerous, in particular the "throw of dress", become famous. As a reminder, lawyers currently have an autonomous, self-funded retirement system. The reform would integrate the profession into the new general point system, which, according to the unions, would cause very large increases in contributions.
In the energy
For several days, some energy unions and EDF, mainly the CGT, have organized savage cuts almost everywhere in France, often in “strategic” places like local Medef headquarters, where the Rungis market, in south of Paris this week. Other times, they restore electricity to homes cut for economic reasons. Obviously, the energy unionists do not warn in advance of their cuts. But this "new" form of protest is strongly denounced by the government and part of the unions. Not sure it displeases the protesters, who could put the cover.
In addition, the CGT Energie voted in general meetings on Monday and Tuesday to shutdown from Thursday evening the three incineration plants in Ile-de-France, threatening to "saturate" the waste treatment chain 6 million Ile-de-France residents, the union and the managing body Syctom told AFP. The three centers in Ivry-sur-Seine, Issy-les-Moulineaux and Saint-Ouen process 6,000 tonnes of waste per day from green (non-recyclable) trash cans of Parisians and Ile-de-France residents. The shutdown takes 6 to 10 hours, and the restart one to two days, or "six days of garbage processing stop" explains Syctom.
Ultimately, the sector risks being “saturated”, and the collection bins could stop taking the trash, warns the intermunicipal union. A catastrophic scenario suspended at the general meetings which will be held on Monday to decide whether or not to continue the movement.

The Parisian demonstration will leave, and it has been rather unusual since the movement began at 11:00 am. It will leave from Place de la République to reach Place de la Concorde, via the quays on the right bank of the Seine. Lille (Porte de Paris), Bordeaux (République), Marseille (Porte d'Aix), Rennes (Charles-de-Gaulle), Lyon (Manufacture des tabacs), Nantes (Miroir d'eau), Toulouse (Place Saint-Cyprien ), Strasbourg (Bourse), to name only the main cities, are also concerned by the demonstrations, according to La Croix .
Thursday evening, several "torchlight" events are planned, including in Paris. Since last week, this type of nocturnal demonstration has been quite successful, renewing the genre and allowing opponents to occupy the field a little more, in a very visible way.
