A 25-year-old mother suffered a fatal accident last Saturday, after being stabbed to death in Northamptonshire, central England.

Britain's Sky News said Levy Davis, a mother of two, had died after trying to resolve a "dispute" between drivers of two cars.

Police say the victim was stabbed and died at the scene, after a quarrel between drivers of two cars, at the intersection of Wellingborough Road and St. George's Road, at about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Police explain that the young mother tried to intervene to resolve the dispute between the two men, before she was stabbed.

"We do not believe that the attack occurred randomly, but the investigation is still going on to find out the details," she added.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder, and another man suspected of attempting to kill the first detainee was detained.

A number of condolences were posted on the victim's page on Facebook, where comments were unanimous that Davis was "a wonderful, always smiling and humorous character."
