A total of five private health centers in Halland that SVT has talked to experience such a high patient pressure that they would like to have the right to introduce a listing stop for new patients.
It has been about eight months since the Läjeskliniken demanded to introduce a listing stop for new patients, something that Region Halland still says no to. Even the Neptune clinic in Varberg, the Södrum clinic in Halmstad and the Victoria clinic in Halmstad want to see an opportunity to stop the listing of new patients temporarily, SVT News shows Halland's survey.
Neptune Clinic: "Unable to Recruit"At the Neptune clinic, the emergency times and planned visits still work well, but there have been longer waiting times over the phone, according to Sverker Nilsson, physician and head of operations for the Neptune clinic.
- We would dream of having a listing stop, he says.
To solve the situation, the employed doctors work more hours.
- It is not possible to find doctors to recruit. We do not have time for health care work at all. Varberg would need one for a health center, says Sverker Nilsson.
Victoria Clinic: "There is no time for reflection"At Söndrum Clinic, waiting times are increasing and you have more patients per doctor than you think is reasonable, according to general practitioner Mats Rydberg.
From the Victoria Clinic in Halmstad, Mikael Lundborg, physician and chief operating officer, writes in an e-mail that “the increased pressure in recent years affects us. There are no breathing breaks in the program, no time for reflection ”.
