• What can you do if Ryanair's strike affects you in September?

The Sepla pilots union has registered a strike notice this morning for September 19, 20, 22, 27 and 29, days that are added to those planned weeks ago by the cabin staff, which will stop on days 1, 2 , 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27 and 28.

The days of stoppages of the pilots and of the crew do not coincide in all the dates, but there will be stops every weekend of September.

The Sepla has presented today the request for mediation before the Interconfederal Mediation and Arbitration Service (SIMA) for the resolution of conflicts, with the hope of being able to reach an agreement with Ryanair and avoid stoppages.

If it is not resolved, the official strike call will be made before the relevant agencies.

Last week Ryanair pilots affiliated with the Sepla had massively supported the adoption of legal measures, including the strike, as a measure of protest over the announced closure of the bases of Tenerife South, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Girona.

Meanwhile, the ten-day cabin crew (TCP) strike in Ryanair, called by the USO and Sitcpla unions, for September (1, 2, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27 and 29) continues standing after the first mediation meeting failed.
