Russia became chairman of the UN Security Council

According to RIA Novosti, part of the events planned for September will be devoted to regional cooperation.

It is expected that some meetings of the UN Security Council in September will be visited by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

Earlier, Russia and China convened an extraordinary meeting of the UN Security Council due to US missile development. At the meeting, Russia's acting Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, called on the United States to engage in an arms control dialogue for the sake of humanity.
