Roscosmos terminated the contract for the production of the first Angara rocket

It is noted that the contract for the production of the rocket was signed by Roskosmos and the Khrunichev Center on July 25, 2019. It was planned to launch a rocket by October 15, 2021.

It is clarified that the contract was terminated on October 30 at the initiative of the state corporation, the reason is not called.

On October 3, the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, announced that the Omsk site of the Khrunichev Center would begin to produce at least four Angara heavy rockets from 2023.
