Pushkov commented on Zelensky’s words about Nord Stream 2

“Zelensky and Duda sing in one tune, but in reality, Nord Stream 2 does not pose a threat to Europe. Kiev is simply afraid of losing revenue from the transit of Russian gas, ”he said.

As the senator noted, the Polish side, in turn, scares Europe with a gas pipeline, as it wants to resell expensive liquefied gas from the United States to its neighbors.

“The whole“ threat ”is only for their pockets. Europe has nothing to do with it, ”he concluded.

Earlier Zelensky, after negotiations with Duda in Warsaw, called Nord Stream 2 a threat to Europe.
