Government forces of the National Accord (GNA) made progress Wednesday in the south of the Libyan capital Tripoli and came close to besieging retired Major General Khalifa Hifter. Information about French troops supporting Hifter's forces was revealed in Tripoli and Misrata.

French support
Sources of the island revealed that the French forces to establish a control station in the oil port of Sidra in order to support Hifter forces in their drone attacks to bomb the city of Misrata.
The sources added that other French forces are working in the operating room of the forces of Hifter in al-Jufra (central Libya) to oversee the Tripoli attack.
