The Italian capital police, Rome, said today, Thursday, that 30 fans from Lazio were banned from attending any sporting events, after they assaulted officers in addition to the fans of the opposing team, in the Scottish Celtic and Atalanta matches.

The 17 fans had participated in clashes after the Lazio match in the European Football Championship, against the Scottish Celtic on November 11.

Violence also occurred at the Olympic Stadium in the capital, Rome, when Lazio faced his counterpart Atalanta in the Italian Cup final on May 15, which led to the ban of 13 other fans of the team.

Prevention penalties range from attending games from three to eight years, and a 10-year ban has been imposed for a fan who has already been suspended in connection with previous incidents.
